The couple that took all
these great pictures,
Henry "Skip" and his wife
Renie Deguire.
Here you see some of the great places
in Mt Rainier National Park in
Washington
These are of a town in Holland where there are no
streets. I think it would be pretty cool in the summer but in
the winter I think it would be pretty uncomfortable.
PA  Most are of a hill that I was
travelling. It is several miles from
bottom to top. The scenery is
great in good weather like I had.
When the weather is bad you
want to be very careful here
Texas style traffic jam. They were
doing construction 12 miles ahead of
the spot I was in when I took these
pictures. They had the road down to
one lane on our side. The construction
was about two hundred yards long.
Here is a picture of the Mississippi
state boundary sign. I took it when I
was crossing into Mississippi from
Louisiana with the load of bananas.
These two are of one of the blades for
a wind generator. Long aren't they?
Above you see some of the cotton fields along the
roadways as I was bringing the bananas up from
Louisiana. Check out the large bale.
Here we see a sunrise in Pennsylvania
Here are a few trucks and their loads. I
will add to these as I get the pictures.
Flatbed with a load of styrofoam
sheets that go to make insulation
in motorhomes and camper trailers
Tanker, They haul just about anything liquid
in tanks similar to this one. Many liquids
require specialized interiors for hauling but
the outsides look much the same
This type trailer is loaded from the top.
You roll the cover to one side and they
dump whatever into the trailer and you
cover it up again. Many times they are
hauling trash or grain. They do not use
the trash trailers for grain.
A step-deck trailer. Used for wide or
high loads like machinery and can
be used to haul almost anything that
a flatbed can haul.
These are pictures taken
by some friends of mine
riding motorcycles at a
place that is nicknamed
"Tail of the Dragon". In
one place there are
more than 100 curves in
just over 11 miles of
road. Brian Bomberger
and his brother and
girlfriend went for a
week. There is a website
dedicated to this area of
the country, it is
www.tailofthedragon.com
take a look.
